You have strong quantitative, mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and explain statistical ML models (such as those used for demand forecasting).
A great communicator – with the ability to explain complex information and data to technical and non-technical audiences.
A creative problem solver with hands-on practical data skills. You enjoy figuring out issues, spotting patterns, and using structured methods to investigate data.

Skilled in data visualization (Tableau or Looker highly desired), with the ability to display complex information clearly.
What You’ll Do
Develop a solid understanding of Revionics’ demand modelling and optimisation algorithms, and the core data-driven services we provide to clients – and explain these to clients and colleagues.
Perform forecast accuracy evaluations, apply model tuning techniques to maximise model accuracy, and explain model outcomes to customers to maximise client satisfaction with forecasting and price optimisation results.
Collaborate with the Professional Services and Customer Success teams, especially Price Strategy Consultants, in the delivery of data science services and sharing of analytical insight on client projects.
Collaborate with the data science development team to improve modelling capability.
Create and improve processes and tools for automated evaluations of models on multiple datasets.
Develop new reports using data pipelines and visualisations to help colleagues and clients gain understanding and value from the data they share with us.
We Also Look For
Experience working in or with the retail industry (especially merchandising or pricing roles).
Solid understanding of statistical regression and modelling techniques (maximum likelihood, Bayesian estimation).
Advanced degree in Operations Research, Econometrics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences or similar quantitative discipline.
Demonstrated ability to quickly spot patterns, correlations or outliers in data to get to the root of a problem.
Fluency in German, Italian, Spanish or other European languages would be beneficial but not required.
Are You The Person We’re Looking For? Big picture thinker with laser focus.
You see both the forest and the trees, starting from the broader context, then zooming in to assess a particular aspect and returning to see how changes affect the broader results.
Expert relationship cultivator.
Clients see you as a good partner who explains things clearly and delivers great results. Colleagues respect your opinions and you are a natural collaborator.
Quality orientation.
You have proven success at evaluating and optimizing ML models with careful, accurate and timely analysis that adds value to the team.
Resourcefulness and application.
We have a pioneering spirit and look for practical solutions by leveraging resources such as colleagues, professional networks, the Internet, articles and books, and applying that knowledge to the job.
