Twin Lakes Pet & Bird Clinic a privately owned, full service small animal veterinary clinic caring for dogs and cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic small mammals. We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team. We would love to add a friendly, energetic, compassionate individual who is able to multitask, works collaboratively with all hospital team members and has an excellent work ethic. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their beloved pets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where you can make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. This position requires availability to work 7:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:30am- Noon on Saturdays. NO Sundays.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and professionally
- Obtain accurate patient information and update client records
- Assist veterinarians with administrative tasks such as preparing medical records
- Educate clients on veterinary products, services, and procedures
- Process payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Requirements for position:

• High school diploma or greater
• Experience in a veterinary setting
• Ability to type and computer knowledge
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and have a true passion for animals
• Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software is preferred
