We are seeking a reliable and experienced Petroleum Transport Driver to join our team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of petroleum products across designated routes. Responsibilities

• Operate various commercial tractor-trailers, specifically petroleum tankers.
• Safely load and unload petroleum products, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations related to hazardous materials handling.
• Assist with loading or unloading when necessary, using appropriate equipment such as pumps or other material handling tools.
• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards throughout all operations.
• weekend availability required

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to tanker or hazardous materials as required.
• Experience with tanker trailers required.
• Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience across various freight types.
• Ability to operate specialized equipment such as pumps when necessary for loading/unloading cargo.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to transporting petroleum products and hazardous materials.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Physical ability to load & unload cargo as needed, including lifting hoses and equipment safely.
• Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and adhering to schedules. This role is vital for ensuring the safe delivery of petroleum products while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in transportation operations.
