Job Overview:
At Olympus Arms we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead our management initiatives across manufacturing and production processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your energetic leadership will drive a culture of excellence, safety, and innovation, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards while fostering a proactive approach to quality assurance across all departments.
Duties
- Assist in Planning and Organizing the Production Schedule.
- Coordinating with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts
- Developing and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated
- communicating with executives about plans and strategies
- Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly
- Streamline workflows, reduce waste, and boost efficiency
- Enforcing procedures and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintaining supervision over the team, building performance, and strong morale
- Propose and implement measures to enhance quality and efficiency in production processes
- Monitor and inspect products and services to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Experience
- 5+ years in Operations management within manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities
- Strong knowledge of ITAR regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
- Demonstrated success in conducting comprehensive quality audits and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Expertise in developing and managing quality systems that support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Project management experience to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high standards of compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills for training teams, collaborating with regulatory bodies, and reporting findings clearly and confidently.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and 100 assisted.
