Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary:

Ambrosia Healthcare is looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team You will process, fill and compound prescriptions at our Palm Desert, CA location.

Responsibilities:
Carry out routine tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Process, label, and label prescription bottles
• Compound both simple and complex medication orders (sterile + non-sterile)
• Communicate with doctors and patients on a daily basis
• Organize and stock medications in their appropriate drawers and shelves
• Cleaning duties as needed to ensure the pharmacy is organized and clean
• Other tasks as assigned by management
• Adherence to strict company policies and procedures

Skills:
Flexibility: Can be very busy day shift, but everything can be accomplished with minimal supervision

• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to perform non-standard tasks under time constraints
• Attention to detail is a must We will provide training on an ongoing basis.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet usage
• Prior experience working as a technician is a huge positive

Minimum Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated (COVID-19, Influenza, etc.)
• Active pharmacy technician license
• Fully licensed to work in the US
• Ability to reliably commute to work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
