As an Inside Sales Representative at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in driving volume growth and maximizing profitability within your assigned territory. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, and a customer-first mindset, and offers the opportunity to directly contribute to sales performance, operational excellence, and long-term customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate closely with outside sales representatives, internal departments, and customers, ensuring seamless order management, superior service, and competitive market strategies. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wheatland, PA.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, is detail-oriented, and excels at building strong customer relationships.

• Performs order entry and verification, ensuring accuracy and eliminating product, pricing, and freight errors.
• Assists with monitoring ready material and coordinating load building once production is complete.
• Partners with outside sales to enter quality claims and track progress through resolution.
• Serves as the primary inside sales contact for a limited portfolio of customer accounts.
• Provides back-up support to other Inside Sales Representatives as needed.
• Maintains a basic understanding of sales reports, tools, and metrics.
• Participates in ongoing departmental projects to support team objectives.
• Carries out clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Completes miscellaneous filing and sales-related maintenance activities, including scanning orders into SAP.
• Performs additional duties or special projects as assigned.

• Post-secondary education preferred.
• 0–2 years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Articulate, energetic, punctual, personable, accountable, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to lead and promote healthy and safe work practices in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Able to maintain regular, predictable, full-time onsite attendance during scheduled work hours.
