Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in remodels and existing structures using hand tools and power tools.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and systems.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-proof connections.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize HVAC knowledge for integrating plumbing with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems when necessary.
• Operate commercial vehicles for transporting materials or equipment between job sites as required.
• Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution.

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing and general construction site work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, and maintenance person techniques is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or repairs.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
• Valid license as a plumber with current certification; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential.
