Store Manager

Job Overview
Jag Threads Apparel Co is a new business across from the University of South Alabama. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to drive sales and maintain operational excellence.

Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, opening the store at 10am and possibility of closing some nights at 6pm
• This position will be a key holding position
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales
• Oversee POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering operations with accuracy and integrity
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• You will report directly to the owner. Any issues with employees will be addressed directly with owner.

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail store environments with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong background in retail sales management, inventory management, and merchandising
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training & development and team supervision
• Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service excellence
• Ability to perform administrative functions such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and purchasing
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Prior experience in marketing, stock management, or wireless sales is advantageous
• Knowledge of store operations including pricing strategies, retail management practices, and organizational skills

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 36.0 per week
