Your proactive approach will support order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse distribution processes. Responsibilities

• Handle inventory management tasks including stock counting, inventory control, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively, including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Perform order picking and packing activities with accuracy to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Manage shipping and receiving duties by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and preparing items for dispatch while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Conduct materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting, stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse distribution areas to optimize space utilization.
• Support manufacturing or construction-related activities when required by assisting with packaging or moving raw materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety protocols and mechanical knowledge to prevent accidents or damage.

Requirements

• Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management systems and warehouse distribution operations.
• Valid certification for operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or order pickers; OSHA safety training preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and tools including pallet jacks, forklifts and metal cutting equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards; experience with stock stocking, order picking & packing is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order fulfillment processes.
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or management systems like AS400 enhances candidacy.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members in shipping & receiving or manufacturing environments. Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
