About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide, you'll provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in both day programs and residential settings. Working closely with a team, you will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their independence.

Location: 3030 Market St. San Diego CA 92105

Schedule: The schedule for this position is Mon-Fri 8:30-3.

Who you are:

  • You enjoy working with individuals with disabilities and creating meaningful experiences.
  • You are patient, compassionate, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • You have strong communication skills and can adapt to the needs of each individual.

A typical day will include:

  • Assisting individuals with personal care, meals, and mobility support.
  • Encouraging participation in daily activities and community outings.
  • Helping individuals build relationships and develop independence.
  • Documenting daily activities and progress using case management software.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to provide person-centered support in a respectful and inclusive way.

We'd love it if you:

  • Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred).
