Job Summary:
Seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the hospital's financial operations, budgeting, and decision-making processes. What you will do:
- conduct in-depth financial analysis, including revenue and expense tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and long-term financial planning.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to senior management, department leaders, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost containment and efficiency improvements.
- Provide recommendations to reduce expenses while maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Build financial models to support strategic decision-making, such as capital investment analysis and service line
- Profitability.
- Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and standards.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelors Degree Required
- Certification: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA) National Board of Surgical Technology Preferred, CPA preferred
- Experience: 2 years of Financial Analysis Experience, preferably in a healthcare setting required
