About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team, specifically supporting our Product Line of Weave. In this role, you will work closely with product teams to analyze user behavior, understand product engagement, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your insights will directly influence product development strategies, feature enhancements, and user experience optimization. You will be responsible for exploring complex datasets, designing and running experiments, and building comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights for product managers and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data exploration, a keen eye for patterns in messy data, and the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing organization at the forefront of AI infrastructure development.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Experience working with large, event-driven datasets.
- Knowledge of analytical and statistical techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and causal inference.
- Familiarity with analytics concepts such as funnels, retention, cohort analysis, and experiment design.
- Experience with tools such as dbt, Hex, and experimentation platforms is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex questions into structured data analyses.
- Proven ability to write clear, maintainable code and document analytical processes effectively.
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers to drive data-informed decisions.
- Curiosity about machine learning workflows and terminology is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user engagement data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for product improvements.
- Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to assess feature performance and causal relationships.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights to product teams.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand their questions and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Develop and document data pipelines, queries, and models to support ongoing analysis efforts.
- Identify and implement best practices for data analysis, visualization, and documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity across datasets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools to continually enhance analytical capabilities.
