Broadway Manor, a 49-bed facility in Milton, PA, dedicated to providing personal care to individuals with mental illness and other health needs, is seeking a Cook to join our team. Job Summary:
The Cook will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the dietary department in menu planning and catering activities.

Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation and cook meals following designated recipes and portion sizes.
- Handle food in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the dietary department in menu planning.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Adhere to proper food handling techniques

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure a consistent flow of necessary ingredients.

• Assist in training new kitchen staff and educating them on proper kitchen practices.

• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the kitchen operations.

• Assist in other duties related to food service as needed.

Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen setting or similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and practices.
- Knowledge of menu planning is a plus.
- Experience in assisting with catering activities is beneficial.
