Line Cook/ Pizza Maker

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Gauci's Pizzeria & Pub. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and ensuring food safety in the restaurant. We are located in a golf course clubhouse with a beautiful view which you will have the opportunity to golf daily if you choose complimentary with your employment. Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus and create new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe handling of food
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the dietary department for necessary supplies
- Assist with training and mentoring new kitchen staff members

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Cook in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills
- Familiarity with menu planning and creating balanced meals
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
