Curant Health is searching for an
ETL Solutions Engineer
to join its Data Engineering team in
Atlanta, GA
. This role is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end data integration and transformation solutions that support analytics, reporting, and operational systems across the organization. The ETL Solutions Engineer partners closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party data providers to define data specifications, ensure data quality, and drive modernization initiatives within Curant Health's data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL and data integration architectures, pipelines, and workflows.
  • Create and manage data specifications, standard data packages, and transformation logic.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party data providers to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Implement and monitor data quality checks, validations, and error-handling mechanisms across all ETL processes.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of data and pipeline issues.
  • Provide technical leadership through solution design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of complex ETL workflows across APIs, flat files, patient systems, and cloud sources.
  • Drive automation initiatives, CI/CD adoption, and cloud-native ETL solutions, primarily in Azure.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and SOX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in ETL or data engineering roles, including 2+ years in a lead or architect capacity.
  • Strong experience with ETL platforms such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Experience building data pipelines in cloud environments, preferably Azure.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash and version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time data integration technologies such as Kafka.
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms including Snowflake or Azure Synapse.
  • Experience with data governance, lineage, or metadata tools.
