Janitor/Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and industrial cleaning procedures.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities including restocking supplies and minor maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.
• Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or painting.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and coverage of all assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, including commercial or residential cleaning.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Prior experience with custodial tasks such as painting or general repairs is a plus. This position is essential in supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
