We're looking for a
reliable, hands-on individual
to join our Production team as
Material Processing Technician I
, with a primary focus on
lyophilizer operations
. This is an
entry-level position
—
no prior experience required
—ideal for someone who enjoys working with machines and is eager to grow their skills in a clean, regulated manufacturing environment.
You'll receive full on-the-job training to operate, monitor, and support specialized equipment critical to the production of high-quality, science-based products.
What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will work 7 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7 am – 1 pm on Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Lyophilizer Operations
- Load, unload, and monitor lyophilizers (freeze-drying equipment) per established procedures.
- Dislodge and collect product pellets post-cycle; submit samples for QC testing.
- Assist with product release following QC approval and manage disposal of failed product.
- Clean and maintain equipment and process materials (e.g., jars, disks) after use.
Production Support & Equipment Operation
- Prepare and dispense components, including hydrating fluids, for production use.
- Operate autoclaves, Masterclave, labeling, and dispensing equipment.
- Record all production activities and material usage accurately in the NetSuite ERP system.
Cleanroom & Compliance
- Follow gowning and cleaning procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
- Support sterility testing and preparation of lab materials.
- Comply with all SOPs, cGMP requirements, and internal quality standards.
Maintenance & Inventory
- Perform basic equipment maintenance according to scheduled tasks.
- Assist with inventory management and staging of cleanroom and production supplies.
