Available Positions
- Part-Time Employee (W-2)
- Contract (1099, business license required)
Schedule
- Hours: Morning and Afternoon hours available. Flexible scheduling available.
- Minimum of 2 days per week, maximum of 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday)
- This position is part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the caseload grows if desired.
Ideal Candidate
This role is perfect for an SLP who:
- Wants to add a part-time position in addition to their school or hospital-based job, or
- Is open to beginning with part-time hours and potentially growing into a larger caseload with full-time opportunities in the future, if desired
Contractor Requirement
For the 1099 position, candidates must have their own LLC and business license for IRS compliance.
Job Duties
- Provide speech and language therapy services to children in a clinic setting
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language delays or disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve speech and language skills
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment
- Provide education and counseling to families on communication strategies
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Proficiency in evidence-based speech therapy practices
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families
- Compassion and empathy when working with children and caregivers from diverse backgrounds
