This position is responsible for the supervision of IT Infrastructure (servers, network, desktops, phones, etc.) and supervising a small supporting staff. The position also works closely with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure IT meets business and software development needs.
Essential Duties:
- Supervise staff and actively complete tasks to support the IT Infrastructure
- Ensure proper function and or maintenance of IT Systems (including but not limited to servers, network, desktops, productivity such as conferencing, mobile devices, storage, backup, disaster recovery, etc.) along with developing and researching/implementing new technology
- Recommendation of adjustments to systems and or equipment to ensure cost-efficient and effective systems/equipment infrastructure
- Well-kept and current documentation of systems, procedures, and inventory
- Project Management
- Strategic Planning
- Communication within and between all departments of the organization
- Preparation and tracking of the annual budget
- Completion of the annual IT audit
Maintain working relationships with vendors and third-party providers, ensuring contracts and licensing are kept up to date and cost maintenance strategies are assessed and analyzed periodically
Allocate time to help direct reports perform effectively by managing, leading, and coaching.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in CIS, related fielded, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, 5+ years of network manager experience
- Excellent familiarity with Microsoft products: AD, Exchange, licensing
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Routinely thinks ahead
- Physical: Must be able to use computer equipment, exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects, kneel, reach, push, pull and lift for sustained periods. Must be able to stand, walk sit and type for long periods.
