Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and quality control, with the ability to oversee multiple facets of construction projects efficiently.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and schedules
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes to ensure project cost control
- Oversee quality control and conduct quality inspections to verify adherence to specifications and safety standards
- Perform construction inspections on-site to monitor progress and compliance with design plans
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate effective communication and workflow
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Support project management teams in scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking
- Ensure electrical systems and other technical components meet safety and quality standards during construction phases
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or related field with a focus on construction site operations
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project management, and quality control processes
- Experience with construction inspection and quality assurance procedures
- Electrical experience or familiarity with electrical systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites is highly desirable
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management or safety standards are advantageous
Pay: $52, $62,918.82 per year
