Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met during meal preparation and service.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to plan menus that cater to the nutritional needs of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets fine dining standards.
• Participate in training sessions on food handling and safety practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience in the food industry preferred.
• Proficient in meal preparation techniques, with an emphasis on dietary restrictions.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards and customer service excellence.
• Previous experience working in a dietary department is preferred but not required.
