Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos and explanations
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail
• Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and stock replenishment tasks
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Collaborate with team members and supervise new staff when needed to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory counts
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering processes
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising standards, and stock management
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to resolve inquiries professionally
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking and merchandising
