We are seeking an ambitious Level I Help Desk System Administrator to join or team This role is primarily remote, however, working at our office in Chester on Tuesdays is required as is traveling to client sites around the Richmond area as needed.

The Level I Help Desk System Administrator is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues as well as assisting with the physical installation, configuration, and connectivity of servers, workstations and networking equipment. Specific duties include the below:

· Providing remote and in-person technical support for basic issues.

· Providing hands-on technical support for the installation, configuration, and connectivity of servers, workstations, and networking equipment.

· Performing and assisting with on-site diagnostics and maintenance on infrastructure components.

· Configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls and access points.

· Trouble shooting and resolving basic issues with server patching, firmware upgrades and infrastructure optimization that have been escalated.

· Supporting Microsoft 365 migrations, AD management and backup recovery testing.

· Working directly with clients in a professional manner in-person, via phone and electronically.

· Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

· College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)

· Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot

· Customer facing experience

· Good documentation skills and attention to detail while documenting

· Ability to work from home in a noise-free environment

·Technically savvy and ability to quickly learn new software programs

· Certifications: CompTIAA+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365 Certified- Fundamentals

Pay: $40, $52,000.00 per year
