Behavior Therapist

Overview

Dedicated and compassionate Behavior Assistants are welcomed Help a child and their family learn school readiness skills, social behavioral skills and home life skills who has developmental disabilities - in the school and home setting. Provide 1:1 care, and assist with behavioral therapy.

Strong commitment to helping individuals with special needs.

Duties

• Work 1-to-1 with an assigned child in a school and at the family's home.
• Implement interventions to support the child in reaching academic, social and home life goals.
• Implement a behavior plan to reduce challenging behavior.
• Record data collection to inform the success of treatment plans.
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques to help child develop positive behaviors.
• Meet with and receive ongoing training and support from the clinical supervisor.
• Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Required Experience:

• Experience working with children in any setting for at least 1 year

Required Academic Need:

• HS Diploma or higher

Pay: $22 - $24 per hour

Hours:

• 30 hours per week

-School & Home 10:45 AM - 5:45 PM M - F to help with school, and afternoon home routines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
