Substitute Teacher

Job Summary
As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to engage with diverse student populations and contribute to their learning experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to sub at both of our locations: 1008 High St. and 2500 N. Green Bay Rd.

Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher effectively
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and encourage positive interactions
- Provide assistance to students in understanding subject matter
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity in education

Experience
- Experience working with children or students
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with educational practices such as curriculum development and tutoring
- Background in areas like Montessori, special education, childcare, or early childhood education is advantageous
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments and student needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
