Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical apptitude, creative problem solving abilities, able to learn and become proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Proficient in the following:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting PLC-controlled automated systems (no full-time programming required)
• Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
• Welding experience required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities .
• Use electrical test equipment supplied by Company and familiar with high voltage electrical panel and equipment. (220)
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems; including wiring motors, pumps and machines.
• Facility maintenance - inside and outside as needed.
• Contact and communicate with vendors for parts and services as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic and willingness to learn .
• Strong PLC mechanical experience.
• Full knowledge of hand and machine tools and know how to properly use the tools.
• Must be able to work independently on asignments/jobs with a minimum of amout of supervision.
• Solid understanding of electrical and plumbing systems and troubleshooting techniques very helpful.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall facility maintenance processes.

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
