The Operations Specialist supports operations by coordinating daily production activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring workflow efficiency. This role assists in monitoring production performance, troubleshooting issues, supporting purchasing activities, and maintaining accurate inventory levels across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling and workflow coordination.

  • Maintain accurate production records, quality documentation, and SOPs.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate materials availability with purchasing and warehouse teams.

  • Assist purchasing with vendor communication, order follow-up, and material requirements.

  • Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and resolve receiving discrepancies.

  • Analyze inventory trends and support cycle counting and reconciliation activities.

  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, downtime causes, and improvement opportunities.

  • Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

  • Prepare KPI reports on production output, scrap, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, and quality results.

  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, purchasing, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues.

  • Support onboarding, training, and cross-training of production personnel.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing operations, purchasing, inventory control, or production support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, quality systems, and safety practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP).

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
