Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Support classroom management by supervising staff and guiding curriculum implementation aligned with early childhood education best practices.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Oversee health and safety procedures, including first aid protocols and emergency response plans.
- Engage with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns effectively.
- Help coordinate staff schedules, training sessions, and professional development opportunities focused on childhood development and caregiving excellence.
- Promote an inclusive environment by supporting working with children with disabilities, special education needs, and toddler care requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Strong classroom experience with skills in classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and caregiving techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with people with disabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, coordinate activities, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners.

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
