Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This role requires a high level of integrity, attentiveness, and the ability to handle potentially high-pressure situations with professionalism.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas and physical patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Conduct thorough inspections of facilities, equipment, and personnel as required.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs for all security-related activities.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively to de-escalate potential threats or disputes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and legal requirements related to armed security operations.

Requirements

• Valid security guard license with armed certification.
• Prior experience in private security preferred.
• Strong surveillance skills .
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond swiftly in emergencies.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
