Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, long-term care, and hospice care. This position requires a commitment to supporting patients' physical and emotional needs while ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide support in patient mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
• Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and patient care tasks as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns.
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to hospital medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, pediatrics, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and more.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program is preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of patient care practices related to long-term care, outpatient services, hospice care, and emergency medicine is desirable.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
