Timothy Hill is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Program Director to lead our Voluntary Foster Home and Transitional Housing Programs. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced professional who is passionate about serving at-risk youth and has a strong background in residential care and program management.

About the Role

The Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and compliance of multiple program departments, including education, vocational training, maintenance, clinical services, and medical services. This role requires strong supervision skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to build relationships with county partners to support program referrals.

This position reports to senior leadership whose role requires frequent travel, making independence, initiative, and accountability essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all program departments
• Supervise Department Heads, including:
• Director of Clinical Services
• Medical Director
• Director of Education
• Lead staff performance, development, and accountability
• Ensure full compliance with New York State regulations and 29-I requirements
• Serve as the primary liaison with counties and referral partners
• Develop and maintain referral relationships to support program census
• Advocate for youth in care and ensure program quality and safety
• Represent Timothy Hill in public, media, and community settings as needed
• Lead crisis response and critical incident management

Job Requirements

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Comfortable with public speaking and media interaction
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Self-motivated, organized, and flexible
• Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet program demands
• Minimum of 5–6 days per week

Education & Experience (Required)

• Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field
• 5+ years of Director-level leadership experience
• Prior experience in residential group care for youth
• Experience with 29-I program operations and oversight preferred
• TCI Certification
