Position Summary:
PRN – As Needed
Shift: 4:00pm – 7:00pm or 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Compensation: $12.00 per hour – plus weekend differentials
Provide all residents efficient, courteous, and professional service through accurate and sanitary means, and provide a clean and sanitary environment throughout the dining and service areas. Treat residents, guests and co-workers with Dignity and Respect.
Job Duties:
- Correct portioning of breakfast fruits, salads, desserts, milk, bread, margarine, juices, special nourishment and food items as dictated by the menu breakdown and individual diet cards.
- Assembling approximately 200 patient trays each meal period, efficiently and accurately, within a given time period.
- Serves the residents in the dining room with efficiency and accuracy.
- Waits on all residents, guests and authorized diners, as assigned by the team leader.
- Cleans all equipment, fixtures, floors, and walls in the assembly and service areas at the end of each shift and during the shift as needed. This includes cart cleaning and sweeping/moping the floor as needed.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read and comprehend. 14 years or older
Minimum Experience: Experience with older adults and/or people with dementia preferred
