*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team to see patients preferably on Thursdays at our Greenville office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with pediatric patients, supporting their communication development through specialized speech therapy interventions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatrics, early intervention, and patient assessment, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each child's needs.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for pediatric patients across at our Greenville Children's Clinic location.
* Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving speech, language, and communication skills.
* Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech therapy sessions that promote patient progress and confidence.
* Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to support holistic patient care and facilitate effective communication strategies.
* Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy techniques as needed to optimize outcomes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans and share insights on patient development.
*Skills*
* Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical environments.
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for children with diverse needs.
* Familiarity with early intervention programs and developmental milestones.
* Ability to assess patients comprehensively using medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience with patient care procedures specific to pediatrics and familiarity with medical documentation standards and Prior Authorization (PA) requirements.
* A valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mississippi is required; additional training in pediatrics is preferred. Join our team as we empower children through effective communication strategies that foster growth, confidence, and success!
