Job Summary

The Senior HR Manager leads and executes HR administrative operations across multiple Service Centers nationwide. This role ensures the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, supports high-volume staffing and onboarding, maintains accurate HR documentation, and coordinates employee programs and events.

This position partners closely with local HR and Operations teams to drive compliance, operational efficiency, and a positive employee experience. Success in this role requires strong HR systems knowledge (e.g., Paychex), exceptional organizational and project management skills, and the flexibility to travel on short notice. Availability during peak "blackout" months (October–February) is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR administrative operations across multiple service centers.
  • Ensure consistent onboarding, benefits coordination, compliance documentation, and personnel file management.
  • Maintain accurate employee data using HRIS platforms (e.g., Paychex).
  • Generate and analyze HR reports including headcount, turnover, attendance, and cost-per-hire.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Manage multi-state compliance requirements, including FMLA and California CFRA.
  • Implement, reinforce, and monitor HR policies and standard operating procedures across all locations.
  • Provide guidance and training to local teams and hold teams accountable for compliance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate holiday events and employee recognition programs.
  • Partner with HR and Operations on timelines, vendors, logistics, and execution.
  • Lead HR projects such as policy rollouts, audits, and process improvements.
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and administrative communications.
  • Partner with staffing agencies to support recruiting operations.
  • Execute incentive programs and recruitment initiatives.
  • Support HR program budgets and coordinate vendor contracts for HR services and events.
  • Ensure timely response to employee requests and concerns.
  • Escalate complex or emergency employee relations matters to HR leadership as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of all HR documentation.
  • Maintain audit readiness and enforce document retention standards across all service centers.
  • Travel nationwide as needed, including last-minute travel.
  • Support seasonal workload demands during blackout months (October–February).

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of HR administration or HR operations experience with multi-location responsibility.
  • Distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paychex).
  • Strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment laws, including FMLA and California CFRA.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility for frequent and last-minute travel.
  • Availability during blackout months (October–February).
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75, $85,000.00 per year
