Framer Carpenter Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer Carpenter Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist in the assembly and installation of building frameworks, including metal and wood structures, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your hands-on expertise will contribute to the successful erection of commercial, residential, or industrial buildings, supporting the overall construction process from foundation to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and eager to develop their skills in framing, carpentry, and related trades.

Duties

• Assist with metal building erection, ensuring structural components are correctly aligned and secured according to schematics and blueprints
• Support concrete forming and rebar installation to prepare for pouring foundations or slabs
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble framing materials such as wood, metal studs, or siding
• Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials around the site efficiently and safely
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications for framing, roofing, or masonry work
• Support masonry tasks including plastering, stucco application, or bricklaying as needed
• Assist with roofing installation, siding application, and trim carpentry to enhance building exterior finishes
• Operate heavy equipment when required for site preparation or material handling
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with construction management team to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld

Qualifications

• Prior construction site experience with exposure to framing, carpentry, or general labor roles preferred
• Knowledge of metal stud framing, woodworking, roofing, siding, and masonry techniques
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for various construction tasks
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
• Familiarity with construction safety practices and protocols
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction management and restoration projects
• Basic knowledge of welding or concrete finishing is a plus but not required
