Relationship Therapist – Couples TherapyTucson, AZ 85704 | Present Hope Therapy
Present Hope Therapy is growing, and we're looking for a warm, skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our relationally-focused private practice in Tucson. We specialize in individual and couples therapy, helping clients rebuild connection, heal past wounds, and cultivate secure, meaningful relationships.
If you're passionate about depth work, relational wellness, and want to be part of a supportive, grounded team—we'd love to meet you.
Who We Are:
At Present Hope Therapy, we understand how overwhelming it can feel when your inner world gets tangled. Thoughts race, emotions surge, and it becomes hard to see a way through. That's where we come in.
Our mission is to offer a grounded, supportive space where clients can slow down, explore their experiences, and begin to make sense of what's happening inside. We bring genuine care and a deep curiosity to every session guided by a commitment to helping clients move toward clarity and change both efficiently and effectively.
We draw from a variety of evidence-based models, including attachment-based therapy, CBT, narrative approaches, mindfulness techniques, and somatic awareness, tailoring each approach to meet the unique needs of the individual or couple in the room. Whether we're helping someone rebuild trust in a relationship or regulate emotions in daily life, we believe healing starts with presence, grows with hope, and leads to lasting transformation.
What You'll Do:
- Primarily focus on providing therapy to couples
- Build a case load of at least 2 days
- Work primarily in-person at our Tucson office near Oracle and Ina Rd
- Use your clinical skills and insight within a loosely structured framework for couples therapy, and collaborate on refining and evolving that structure
- Complete timely and accurate documentation within 24 hours using our user-friendly EHR platform
- For associate-licensed clinicians: participate in free clinical supervision and meet twice monthly with the practice owner for collaborative client care support and training
- Be an engaged part of our practice culture—showing up with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to relational depth
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed in Arizona as an LAC (minimum 2 years exp.), LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist
- Proof of certification or completed CEUs that specifically pertain to couples therapy
- Clinical experience and strong interest in working with couples
- Skilled in navigating relational patterns, attachment dynamics, and various modalities
- Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting
- Relational, attuned, and committed to ongoing personal and professional development
