Position Summary

As a Pest Control Technician at Peak Pest Control, you'll be responsible for servicing residential and commercial properties, diagnosing pest issues, and applying treatments safely and effectively. This is a hands-on, active role that keeps you on the go throughout the day.

Confidence and strong communication skills are important. You'll educate customers, set expectations, and build trust. Technicians who perform well naturally earn more.

No prior pest control experience is required. We provide paid training and materials to become a licensed pesticide applicator in the State of Utah.

What You'll Be Doing

• Service an assigned daily route (approximately 15 services per day)

• Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity

• Diagnose pest problems and determine appropriate treatment plans

• Apply pest control products safely and in compliance with state regulations

• Educate customers on prevention, treatment options, and best practices

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the Peak Pest Control brand

• Accurately document services, products used, and customer notes

• Operate and maintain equipment (sprayers, backpacks, web poles, etc.)

• Safely operate and maintain a company-provided service vehicle

• Attend weekly training meetings and ongoing skill development

• Resolve customer concerns and help prevent service cancellations

Schedule

• Full-time

• Monday–Friday (start time 7:30 AM, approx. 8 hours/day)

• Occasional rotating Saturdays (about 1 per month)

• Sundays OFF

Compensation & Benefits

• $20-$26 per hour, depending on performance

• 90-day probationary period for evaluation and advancement

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Own a smartphone for work communication

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Able to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Clean-cut, professional, and confident demeanor

• No smoking, vaping or nicotine products of any kind allowed while on the job

• Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is a plus — but not required

Location

• Must be able to commute to our office in Roy, UT
