How You'll Make An Impact
- Perform total cost of ownership (TCO) sourcing activities and mitigate risks.
- Conduct negotiations and establish contracts and service level agreements for regional suppliers.
- Collaborate with Engineering to propose application alternatives and drive category consolidation.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives using technical requirements and data analysis.
- Analyze commodity spend, market dynamics, and price developments to inform sourcing strategy.
- Communicate sourcing strategies and negotiation results to regional factories.
- Support timely implementation of strategies and lead selected SCM projects.
- Manage and resolve critical supplier shortcomings while promoting standardization.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends for strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supplier performance management.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
