Maintenance Manager

The Role

We're recruiting for a growing property management company seeking a Maintenance

Manager to oversee all maintenance operations for a large apartment community in

Austintown, near Youngstown, Ohio. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for

team management, property upkeep, vendor coordination, and maintaining a safe and

quality living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations including repairs, preventive work, and capital

projects

• Train, guide, and support maintenance technicians to ensure quality and safety

standards

• Manage vendors and contractors across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and

snow removal

• Oversee unit turns and move-in readiness in partnership with the suite prep team

• Monitor budgets, order supplies, and track inventory for efficient project completion

• Conduct property inspections and maintain building systems to meet regulations

• Participate in the on-call rotation and support emergency response as needed

What You Bring

• Strong background in property or facilities maintenance leadership

• Technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

• Proven experience managing staff, vendors, and budgets

• Clear communication skills and a calm, hands-on leadership style

• Comfort using property management or maintenance software such as Yardi or

RealPage

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Trade certifications or HVAC certification preferred

• Ability to bring personal tools on day one

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54, $85,420.57 per year
