Expo/Food Runner Lead

Overview
We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner Lead. In this role, you will oversee the food presentation and delivery, coordinate the fellow expo/food runners and ensure that every plate reaches our guests promptly and accurately from kitchen to table. As a leader in the food service environment, you will manage expo line set up, check orders for accuracy, train new food runners and create a seamless link between the kitchen and servers. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable dining moments that keep guests coming back for more

Duties

• Lead and supervise the food runner team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes from kitchen to table
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and resolve any service issues swiftly
• Maintain high standards of food safety, handling, and sanitation throughout all stages of food preparation and delivery
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and uphold quality standards
• Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables quickly, and maintaining a clean dining environment
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction

Skills

• Extensive experience in food service environments with a strong understanding of restaurant operations
• Proven ability in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
• Prior restaurant or banquet experience with a focus on guest services and hospitality excellence
• Skilled in serving, food preparation, bussing
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and management effectively
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling hot foods, cold foods, and allergens
• Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm, motivate others, and maintain a positive work environment

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
