Fedex Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.

Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.

Load and unload products safely, ensuring proper handling of items during transit.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.

Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with knowledge of route driving and courier services preferred.

Valid commercial driver's license

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and address their needs.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Physical stamina to lift heavy packages (up to 150 lbs) and perform manual tasks as required.

Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial; experience driving box trucks or vans is preferred.
