Job Summary :
The Service Station Manager will provide leadership and technical support to assigned personnel and contractors. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment, managing costs, and delivering repairs on time. The manager will also ensure standard work / processes are followed in order to ensure high quality work and, providing additional oversight to ensure work is performed within budgeted time and within the guidelines of all quality standards.
The Aftermarket services function is responsible for the repair, upgrade, and calibration of customer owned tooling sold by RH Aero. This role will also engage with other stations and cross-functional teams to create solutions to meet customer needs, develop processes to support and implement on time and profitably. The Service Station Manager may also develop and maintain key domestic & international relationships with OEMs.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- BSME (e.g. aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering) or equivalent degree; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years work experience, ideally perennial experience as a team lead
- Experience in the aviation industry would be an advantage but not a mandatory condition
- Experience in the service work environment would be an advantage but not a mandatory condition
- Have a high degree of self-motivation and work in a dynamic and structured manner
- Excellent communicator in English (spoken and written), other languages, e.g. German would be an advantage
- Computer literacy includes Microsoft Excel and Power point.
- Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Ability to read and fully understand general procedure manuals.
- Skills pertaining to mechanical evaluations and repairs of a wide range of equipment.
- Occasional travel to service stations in the US and to customer sites will be required.
- Ability to interact effectively at various levels within the customer's organization.
