IT Technician

Duties

• Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively
• Manage computer systems including desktops, laptops, and peripherals across different operating systems such as Windows a
• Assist with computer management tasks like software installations, updates, and configurations on Fishbowl, Microsoft, and Formulator
• Support network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware components, peripherals, and operating systems to optimize performance
• Collaborate with team members on IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades or security enhancements

Experience

• Proven experience providing IT support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on desktop support and help desk functions
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows
• Hands-on experience managing computer networks such as LANs, VPNs, and firewalls
• Familiarity with troubleshooting software issues within Microsoft Office suite and other common business applications
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and incident tracking

****Experience with Fishbowl Management System is a plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
