Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, as well as familiarity with fine dining standards, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a vibrant food industry setting.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety compliance
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Process payments accurately through cashiering systems, handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations via OpenTable

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is a plus
