General Manager – Upscale Wine Bar

We're seeking an experienced and extremely knowledgeable wine professional to serve as General Manager for our upscale wine bar featuring a curated wine program, craft cocktails, and a chef-driven small plates menu. The GM will oversee all daily operations, including staff management, guest service, food & beverage execution, and security, while driving profitability and maintaining a refined, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and inspire staff across all departments (FOH, BOH, and security)
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences with high service standards
• Curate and maintain a sophisticated wine program, including staff education and pairings
• Manage operations including scheduling, inventory, and compliance
• Oversee budgets, costs, and financial performance
• Maintain a safe, upscale environment for guests and employees

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hospitality management (wine bar, restaurant, or upscale lounge preferred)
• Extensive wine knowledge with the ability to guide selections, pairings, and staff training
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive results

Schedule: Evenings and weekends required
