Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all work areas, including food handling, kitchen stations, and retail area spaces.
• Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with food prep tasks such as making Iced Tea, coffee, latte's etc., restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support team members by working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Engage in ongoing training related to food service, POS systems, and sanitation procedures to enhance your expertise.
• This is a great opportunity for students 16 years and older who are willing to work hard and gain experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is helpful but NOT required.
• Familiarity with POS systems POS for efficient order processing is helpful but NOT required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is helpful but NOT required.
• Experience in cashiering, cashier training or cash handling responsibilities preferred.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
• Ability to work well in a team environment within a fast-paced setting.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
