About the Role

Join our team as a DME Customer Service Representative specializing in PAP and RAD therapy. You'll play a vital role in patient onboarding, eligibility verification, and appointment scheduling, ensuring patients receive timely and effective therapy. This position works closely with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to deliver high-quality service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Intake: Coordinate onboarding for new PAP and RAD therapy patients; collect and verify medical history and insurance coverage.
• Therapy Qualification: Evaluate patient eligibility per payer-specific guidelines; secure authorizations and documentation from insurance providers.
• Appointment Scheduling: Arrange equipment setup appointments; communicate details and updates to patients.
• Insurance Coordination: Confirm coverage, obtain approvals, and resolve billing or claim issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy progress, equipment usage, and insurance details; ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Liaison: Serve as a contact point for patients, providers, sales reps, and insurers; facilitate communication and resolve issues.
• Compliance: Adhere to healthcare regulations and organizational standards; stay updated on regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required. · Experience: Minimum 3 years in the DME industry.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• At least 2 years of experience using Brightree.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook).
