About the Role

As a
Chemical Process/Project Engineer
, you'll report directly to the Engineering Manager and take ownership of a wide range of engineering and project activities. You'll work closely with fabrication teams, collaborate with clients, and contribute to the design, testing, and commissioning of innovative process systems.

Core Engineering Duties

• Perform mass and energy balance calculations
• Conduct heating, heat-loss, and relief calculations
• Develop P&IDs and PFDs
• Design custom process equipment
• Specify, evaluate, and purchase equipment
• Design piping systems and skid-mounted systems
• Support fabrication teams during system build-outs
• Participate in experiments, process trials, and testing
• Assist with commissioning R&D systems, pilot plants, skid units, and full-scale production systems
• Prepare technical work proposals for clients

• Operate R&D or small-scale chemical systems as needed

What We're Looking For

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a chemical plant or chemical plant design environment
• Strong background in manufacturing environments
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
• Experience using AutoCAD (Autodesk)
• Ability to travel ~10% to customer sites
• Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and in small teams
• Comfortable working from home when required
