The Senior Sales Engineer lives and works in the intersection between sales and engineering. You are able to articulate technology and product positioning at the executive, business and technical levels. Sales Engineers are the primary technical support for the field sales force and are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. They are there to ensure success with all customers and strategize with their sales counterparts to steer customers to a commercial relationship.

You are self-motivated with a proven track record in a senior technical position such as a systems engineer, software engineer or sales engineering. You are comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. You possess strong presentation skills and are able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. You are organized and analytical, and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Some travel may be needed based on the needs of the business.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver great product demonstrations which tell a story of how our solutions contributes value to our customers and prospects
  • Ability to deliver in-depth technical knowledge in person and virtually
  • Represent LoadMaster, WhatsUp Gold, and Flowmon and our solutions to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, MeetUps, etc.
  • Keep current on changes and developments in enterprise computing, infrastructure, and cloud computing provider industries
