Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment. This role is vital in providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our facilities, including hotels, commercial spaces, or residential properties. Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the housekeeping field.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care techniques
• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris
• Handle waste disposal according to safety protocols
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning or custodial tasks when required
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control and scheduling support

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning products
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
• Good organizational skills and time management abilities
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
